One of our favorite Subdivisions and golf courses is Woodmont Golf Country Club in Canton Cherokee County. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. we play this course often. Lots of diversity and always in great condition. We sold a home to a couple from Florida who wanted a club with lots of activities as they were retired and this fit the bill. There are multiple membership packages but the course is public. This is a award winner John Wieland Community, with different sections featuring various styles, price ranges, there are plans for another section for active adults. Most of the homes are on the main circle street surrounding the course, or on streets that turn off of it. Although fairly rural at its inception, this area is now a flurry of home building activity. As expected a wonderful clubhouse and amenity package. Prices range from $300,000 to $800,000.
Bridgemill Country Club Homes for sale in Canton Georgia. Fun fun golf private course, had the pleasure of playing there. First class from the clubhouse to the 18th hole. Great layout in a community the size of a village. Incredible amenity package. Some of the homes back to the Army Corp of Engineers land due to proximity of Lake Allatoona. Entering the community you get a feel for its size, but, on its secondary roads, much more quaint. The bulk of the homes are in the main section with another section down the street. Primarily traditional in style, varying lot types and sizes and rolling terrain makes it interesting. If you have kids, this is a great place to live. Designed by Arthur Hills and opening in1994, the course is unique with few holes that run alongside another. Instead this course covers a lot of ground presenting scenic views on every hole.
